Eyes and lips for Lady Jane
8/10/26: Some work on her face. She's a bit blurry, because in Photoshop I have to really zoom in to draw the features (even though they'll be much smaller in the game)

Pose for Lady Jane
8/7/26: A pose for the doll. I chose 3/4 so we can see her headdress better than from the front. Also, choosing a title, "English Fashion" sounds confusing imo with English being the international language, while "England's Fashion" would be clearer. But I'm going with "Lady Jane," that sounds like a catchy title, and it helps me think of the doll as a character in a story.

Sketches English lady
8/5/26: sketches based on the Youtube slideshow I mentioned below. The concept for this new game is similar to the one in French Court in a sense (historical fashion, successive periods brought together), but the approach is different, I'd like the doll to seem like she's a character from a Disney movie.

8/3/26: Some references for the next dress up game, about historical fashion in England :) I came across this random Youtube short and it made me want to try a doll on this theme: since there's a lot of variation as well as continuity I can construct a dress around it, and I personally love how it looks. Not sure what will be included in the end but the periods I'm considering are on this timeline: Tudor / Elizabethan / Rococo / Regency / Victorian / Edwardian, as a guide.
