Brigitte Bardot portrait study
7/14/26: Redo of Brigitte Bardot :)

Portrait Brigitte Bardot
7/13/26: Her expression is a bit off imo (comparing to the reference) but I like the pastel colors

Portrait study Emmanuelle Beart

Accessories with references

7/6/26: A red flower crown, white roses and a blue jay, some of my favorite accessories for the upcoming game!

Isabelle Adjani portrait study

Brigitte Bardot portrait study
7/01/26

Reference Brigitte Bardot, Isabelle Adjani, Emmanuelle Beart
6/29/26: Next I'll be trying out a few portraits, with French actresses from the olden days (Brigitte Bardot, Isabelle Adjani, Emmanuelle Béart). Portraits are tough so my expectations are not high, if there's some likeness, I'll be happy!

Alphonse Mucha Dress Study
6/25/26: reference for a long dress with lots of folds at the bottom

Mucha game inspiration
6/22/26: The starting point for the game! This painting by Mucha is really decorative, with a pleasant color palette and imagery of nature. My line of action isn't flowing as naturally but hopefully it still creates an interesting pose for a dress up game.

Alphonse Mucha study
6/19/26: I'm not sure what she's wearing exactly, but I chose to copy this picture because I like the shading style

6/17/26: New Doll :) The title for this one will be Mucha Maiden. The reason her eyes look neon green is so that when she's normal size, we can still distinguish this eye color apart from brown or blue.

Alphonse Mucha Study
6/10/26: Now switching to studies of Alphonse Mucha, since he's my inspiration for the next dress up game

Lancelot Arthur Rackham Study
6/8/26: Lancelot (ref by Arthur Rackham)
I love the coloring of the armor and the scales but can't go there, recreating the composition is enough of a challenge!

Arthur Rackham Illustration Study
6/4/26: Trying to copy a character from an illustration by Arthur Rackham. His work is from around the 1900s and his style is very vintage and quaint, with lots of interesting details about medieval-ish European life and fashion, so I often use him for reference in my dress up games (especially for Grimm Beauty)
